On October 6, 2023, a heartwarming and impactful event took place at the Hamad Blood Donor Center in Doha, Qatar, as part of the “Dugo ko Buhay Mo Part 6” campaign. The event was a tremendous success, bringing together various organizations and individuals to make a difference in the lives of those in need of blood transfusions.

The initiative was led by Bantay at Kasangga ng OFW International Inc., in partnership with Bayanihan Qatar and supported by a range of other groups in Doha. These organizations joined forces to encourage the Filipino community and other residents in Qatar to donate blood, saving lives and supporting Qatar’s healthcare system.

Thanks to the generosity of the participants, the “Dugo ko Buhay Mo” campaign not only exceeded its goals but also reinforced the spirit of bayanihan (community unity) among the Filipino community in Qatar. This successful event highlights the power of collaboration and the selflessness of individuals who come together for a common cause—saving lives.
